Job Overview

Tetra Tech is a leading environmental consulting firm that offers a range of services to support sustainable projects. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.

This role will involve providing technical support for various projects with public and private clients, focusing on the energy industry. Activities will include design efforts associated with solar projects, reclamation projects, bioenergy, and natural gas gathering and transfer pipelines. The candidate may be requested to support other projects/programs within the department and office.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and at least two years of experience in environmental engineering. Experience in interfacing with state and local agencies as well as community boards for project planning is beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $80,000, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Support in modeling and designing Post Construction Stormwater Management controls
• Review and implement appropriate regulations associated with proposed efforts
• Interface with Project Managers, Subcontractors, and client/government regulatory agencies
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required
• Develop and maintain project documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• At least two years of experience in environmental engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
