As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the direct delivery of resident care and administering prescribed medications.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding residents, their conditions, and family matters.
- Adhering to established corporate and departmental policies and maintaining high standards of practice.
- Documenting accurate and detailed records of medical and nursing care provided to residents.
- Assigning daily care tasks to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, while monitoring and evaluating care delivery.
- Participating in the planning of resident care.

Additionally, you will:
- Assess and respond to the physical and psychological needs of residents in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Assist with the admissions and discharges of residents.
- Support the management of Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides.
- Provide direct care to residents as time and responsibilities allow.

Requirements include:
- A current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, and turn frequently throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds to assist colleagues with resident lifts and transfers multiple times during the shift.
- The ability to navigate the campus effectively to evaluate residents and support staff, while being prepared to respond to emergencies.

It is essential to react promptly and decisively in emergencies and unexpected resident behaviors. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with residents at an understandable level.
