About the Role:

As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing primary care to ill or injured patients at referring facilities and during transports to receiving facilities. You will also relay critical information regarding patient condition to medical control physicians and work collaboratively with team members and medical control to develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with Pedi-Flite policy and procedure, hospital policies, and regulatory agency requirements
  • Collaborate with medical control physicians to develop individualized plans of care
  • Communicate effectively with team members and patients to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Serve as a resource provider and educator on critical care services

Requirements:

  • Technical degree or diploma in Paramedicine (Required)
  • Driving experience, Emergency Medical Technician certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification and relevant certifications from the American Heart Association
