We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Substitute Nurse to join our team at the Mount Olive Township School District. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our students. As a Substitute Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and ensuring the overall health and safety of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to students, including administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student health information, including medical history, allergies, and medications
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement policies and procedures related to student health and wellbeing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and adapt to changing needs and requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a current RN License or NJ School Nurse Certificate. Additionally, they should have a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
