Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Counselor to join our team at Alachua County Public Schools. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in a summer camp setting. This is a temporary full-time position that requires a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide guidance and support to students in a summer camp setting.
  2. Develop and implement engaging activities and programs for students.
  3. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  4. Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals.

Requirements:

Applicant's Acknowledgment and Agreement:
By submitting an application, the candidate authorizes the school district to conduct an investigation of candidate pursuant to The School Code to determine whether candidate has been convicted of any criminal or drug offenses as set forth in such statute, and, upon request, agrees to execute an investigation authorization form as a condition for candidate's employment. The School Code also stipulates that the School District perform a check on the Statewide Sex Offender Database. Candidate may not be employed unless such investigations have been initiated.
