Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Care: Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, and provide emotional support and guidance as needed.
- Lead and Collaborate: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, participate in performance evaluations, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Manage Medications and Treatments: Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe and effective care.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in peer review, and engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Current PA RN Nursing License: Possess a current nursing license in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Hold current BLS certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Act 34 Clearance: Possess current Act 34 clearance.
