Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our residents at Regency Senior Living. This is a full-time position working 24 hour shifts.

About the Job

The Caregiver will be responsible for providing daily care and services to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Provide personal care services, such as nail care, hair care, and oral hygiene.
  • Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions, including using bedpans, urinals, and commodes.
  • Assist residents with walking and mobility, using assistive devices as needed.
  • Document resident care and services provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or geriatric setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting and bending.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
