Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Calibration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating a variety of temperature and humidity control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and maintain electronic equipment to NIST standards.
  • Generate and maintain traceable calibration records.
  • Clean, maintain, and repair all equipment utilized in acceptance testing of shippable products.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot testing problems to determine root cause.
  • Repair and replace defective equipment and recertify test stations.
  • Coordinate problems and corrective action with supervisors.
  • Set up standardized laboratory equipment to test and measure accuracy of instruments.
  • Disassemble instruments and inspect parts for defects.
  • Measure parts for conformity using precision measuring devices.
  • Coordinate efforts with related departments in accordance with established standards and priority.
  • Maintain inventory of specialized repair/supply items to ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Requests quotes and submits requisitions when supplies are low.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military training preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a related field.
  • NADCAP qualification in Pyrometry processes preferred.
  • Understanding of Soldering techniques preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available.
Qualifications
  • Must have basic understanding of metrology.
  • Must have an understanding of schematics.
