Aerospace Systems Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled Systems Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity? Join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer and work on developing new Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities.

About the Job

As a key member of our Gray Eagle MQ-1C Engineering group, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering tasks, including conceptual through final design of new UAS capabilities. This includes leading stakeholder requirements elicitation, analysis, and definition.

  • Perform analysis of stakeholder requirements to decompose and allocate requirements to lower levels of specification (system/segment/subsystem/component). Ensure traceability between requirements at all levels of specification.
  • Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements at all specification levels to ensure adequacy and satisfaction of requirements.
Requirements

Typically requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive Engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or four or more years of experience with a master's degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent Engineering experience in lieu of education.

  • Experience with Modeling methodologies including SysML, UML, and Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with requirements development, analysis, definition, allocation, decomposition, and traceability
