Physician - General Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Franciscan Health. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures, including laparoscopic appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernia repairs
- Diagnose and treat patients with a range of conditions, including gastrointestinal disorders and breast diseases
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Board certification in general surgery or eligibility for certification
- Current medical licensure in the state of Indiana
- Basic life support certification
