HR Generalist

About the Role:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for administering various aspects of human resources activities, including providing staff assistance in personnel policies and procedures, recruiting employees, employee orientation, salary and benefits, and workers' compensation, in accordance with corporate policy and existing law.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to inquiries on personnel and payroll matters at the local level and act as a liaison to the corporate human resource department on questions requiring policy interpretation.
  2. Coordinate orientation of new employees and arrange for completion of all necessary employment forms.
  3. Monitor and facilitate the implementation of ARH benefit programs at the local level.
  4. Assure current Corporate policy manual and job descriptions are maintained.
  5. Process and maintain personnel documents in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  6. Monitor salary increases for compliance with the ARH Salary Administration Guide and collective bargaining agreements.
  7. Assist the Administrator in determining logical staffing patterns with the aid of the printed position control.
  8. Assure all employee incident reports are filed in a timely manner with the workers' compensation carrier and managed care provider.
Qualifications:

An Associate Degree in business administration with 7 years of experience in human resources administration; or High school graduate with college-level courses in human resource administration, business administration, or related subjects with 10 years of experience in the human resource administration.

Must be proficient in Windows, Excel, demonstrating proficient typing skills of 70 wpm. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
