Position Overview:
A client based in Reno is looking for a dedicated and empathetic family medicine physician to become part of a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience, demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based medical practices, and be adept at treating patients across all age groups. This position requires teamwork with other healthcare professionals and the ability to lead mid-level providers and nursing staff.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid NV medical license as an MD or DO
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine
- NV DEA certificate prior to commencement
- Current CPR certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of varying ages
- Engage in the formulation of clinic protocols and procedures to uphold high-quality medical care
- Participate in utilization and peer review initiatives to assess the quality of medical staff and services provided
- Offer supervision and guidance to physician assistants and nurse practitioners
- Provide consultation services to practitioners via telephone as required
