Job Description

Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Industrial Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjunct Instructor of Industrial Maintenance to join our team at Ranger College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the safety measures, characteristics, and proper use of industrial equipment, materials, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach courses in industrial maintenance, including shop tools and equipment operation.
  • Supervise students during hands-on activities and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support program goals and student success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and standards in industrial maintenance technology.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of skill in working with industrial shop tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching or training experience in a technical field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift moderate weights of materials, equipment, and supplies.
