**Job Summary**

Loves Travel Stops and Country Stores is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with our fleet of vehicles.

About the Job

We are committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience at our travel stops. As a Diesel Technician, you will work closely with our customers and drivers to provide preventative maintenance services and resolve any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
