Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure a superior guest experience through effective maintenance operations within the hotel. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be tasked with a variety of essential maintenance duties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining the overall functionality of hotel systems. Key responsibilities will encompass refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and general upkeep of the hotel facilities. The role requires responding to requests and directives from management. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility for AM and/or PM shifts, including weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma and necessary mechanical certifications or equivalent secondary education.
  • A minimum of two years of maintenance or engineering experience in a multi-unit setting, such as hotels with 200 or more rooms, or similar facilities like apartments or healthcare establishments.
  • Proficient communication skills in both verbal and written English with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial building systems, including HVAC and related BAS/CMMS systems, industrial kitchen equipment, Life Safety Systems, and Emergency Generators.
