Position Overview

The role of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist at Memorial Regional Health involves providing essential diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. This position is vital in ensuring comprehensive care for individuals across various age groups.

Certification Requirements
  • Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist License (DORA) or a valid compact license.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification, obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License (applicable for Home Health services).
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care by coordinating and directing services tailored to meet individual patient needs.
  • Engage professionally with patients and their families, involving them in the care plan.
  • Adapt service delivery to respect patients' unique differences, values, and preferences.
  • Ensure timely and quality documentation that adheres to professional and regulatory standards.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment

Memorial Regional Health is a rural clinic dedicated to treating a diverse range of conditions, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, post-operative care, sports medicine, vestibular/concussion issues, and long-term neurological conditions. The clinic prides itself on a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment, offering mentorship and ongoing education opportunities.

Schedule Details

This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no overtime required.

Clinical Focus

The Speech Language Pathologist will primarily work with outpatient pediatrics and adults, with some coverage for subacute inpatient services and modified barium swallow studies as needed.
