Recruiting Coordinator

Job Overview
The Recruiting Intern role at Sparton involves participating in all aspects of our recruitment operations, from start to finish. This includes contacting and interviewing candidates, preparing documentation for clients, and reporting on ongoing business.
You will also attend company events, prepare reports, and contribute to the smooth running of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting and refreshing job opportunities on relevant platforms
- Managing job description database projects
- Handling incoming applications and screenings, and collating received documentation
- Organizing interview schedules and scheduling pre-employment testing and initiating background checks
- Maintaining ongoing contact with candidates through the process
- Attending recruiting fairs and events
Requirements
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and ability to provide documentation to confirm degree progress
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience with ATS, Microsoft Office including Teams applications
- Prior experience with customer service phone support, administrative coordination activities
- Organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Travel Requirement
Less than 10% local area travel for recruiting events

This job operates in a professional office environment and a manufacturing environment. The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
