- Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.">
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, adhering to strict infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.">
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits, utilizing electronic health record systems to optimize efficiency and organization.">
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for outside labs, adhering to established protocols and quality standards.">
- Educate patients on procedures, medications, and health management, providing clear and concise information to promote informed decision-making.">
- Manage medical records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding sensitive patient information.">
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.">
- Assist with patient billing and insurance verification processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.">
- Handle phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient concerns and addressing issues promptly and professionally.">
Qualifications

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred, with a strong foundation in medical terminology and clinical procedures.">
- Previous experience in an OBGYN or women's health setting is a plus, demonstrating expertise and adaptability in fast-paced environments.">
