We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg with Telemetry Unit team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
- Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
- Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Professional Certification.

Work EnvironmentOur 45-bed MedSurg with Telemetry Unit is a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. We have a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and a strong support staff, including PCTs, Nurse Techs, and LPNs.
