Organic Farmhand

About the Job: The Trustees of Reservations is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Organic Farmhand to join our Appleton Farms crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the growth and maintenance of our organic vegetable crops. You will work closely with our experienced farm staff to implement crop plans, conduct field operations, and ensure timely harvest and distribution of our produce.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with greenhouse and high tunnel production, field operations, and vegetable harvest and wash and pack. Learn farm systems and strive for efficiency. May have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over the season for full-time staff, such as leading harvests or managing a production arena.

Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds and crouch or bend for long periods of time. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Must be able to accommodate a seasonal work schedule.
