As a Front Desk Supervisor, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting interviews, hiring, and training new team members
- Providing performance evaluations and addressing any issues that arise
- Ensuring open communication within the team and managing disciplinary actions when necessary
Addressing guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat visits.
Overseeing the implementation of company programs and managing the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring compliance with established standards, maximizing revenue, and motivating team members to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Front Desk Agents and maintain a calm demeanor during busy periods or emergencies, serving as a role model for your team.
Resolve guest complaints by thoroughly investigating situations and determining effective solutions. Make informed decisions based on experience and sound judgment, and authorize revenue adjustments only after exploring all alternative solutions.
Maintain regular attendance and be available to work consistently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient communication skills in English, with a self-motivated and even-tempered personality.
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times, with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Team-oriented mindset, willing to assist colleagues as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle both internal and external customer interactions with patience and diplomacy.
Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a calculator for moderately complex calculations.
Ability to accurately input and access information using a moderately complex computer system.
Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing duties at the front desk.
Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports on room availability and revenue generated.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
