Cleanliness and Sanitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Maple Manor Christian Home Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain the entire facility in a clean, neat, and sanitary condition, adhering to established procedures and schedules.
• Room and Area Cleaning: Clean all residents' rooms, hallways, activity areas, offices, restrooms, and dining room, entryway, and visitation rooms.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment and report any problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Supply Management: Stock and keep housekeeping closets clean and neat.
• Laundry Services: Assist with laundry duties, including caring for linens and residents' personal items.

• Communication Skills: Ability to read and write, following both written and oral instructions.
• Observation and Attention to Detail: Ability to observe individual needs and maintain good housekeeping and sanitary techniques.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to serve residents with kindness and patience.
• Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
• Physical and Emotional Demands: Good physical condition and emotional maturity.
• Availability: Ability to work a regular schedule without family obligations hindering stability of service.
