Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Overview

The role involves operating a bump form brake press (specifically a Pacific Press Technologies 2000-ton) and/or an 8ft wide pyramid roll press. Candidates will be tasked with utilizing an overhead crane for material handling, operating a sit-down forklift for transporting materials, and assisting machine operators with loading and unloading processes. Responsibilities also include banding and wrapping pallets, preparing metal plates for machining using a grinder, and accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, including measurements such as width, length, and arc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate bump form brake press and roll press machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints and measurements
  • Utilize overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials
  • Prepare metal plates for machining
  • Maintain inventory and label products
Work Schedule

This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, with a duration of 5 months. The work schedule is primarily 1st shift, operating from 7am to 3:30pm, with the potential for up to 45 hours per week and occasional Saturday shifts.
Work Environment

Candidates will be situated on the manufacturing floor, collaborating with machine operators, welders, and maintenance personnel. The environment may be slightly dirty and subject to temperature variations throughout the seasons.
