POSITION SUMMARY
As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for operating commercial kitchen equipment and adhering to established recipes and procedures to prepare a variety of menu offerings. Your role will ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards within a bustling food service environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize batch cooking methods to maintain optimal temperature and quality of food items.
- Demonstrate proficiency in large-scale cooking and apply basic mathematical skills for recipe adjustments.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members to enhance kitchen efficiency and productivity.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in large quantity food preparation and the ability to follow standard recipes accurately.
- Familiarity with various commercial kitchen equipment and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe) and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
