Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in Charlottesville, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo, 2D Echo, and Transesophageal Echo.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in recognizing all disease states and composing detailed preliminary reports.
  • Operate ultrasound systems, including Vivid 9 and Vivid 7 models, and utilize EchoPacs for reporting.
  • Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities, including 7 consecutive evening/night shifts every 4 weeks.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
  • Expertise in conducting and interpreting Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo, 2D Echo, and Transesophageal Echo.
  • Experience with Vivid 9 and Vivid 7 ultrasound systems is preferred.
  • Ability to write thorough preliminary reports.
  • Certification and registration as a Cardiac Sonographer required.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
