Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Construction Superintendent (Bridge) is a key member of our team at New Enterprise Stone & Lime, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned projects and crews. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage financial and budget aspects for assigned projects, track productivity of work, and ensure project budgets are met.
- Site Supervision: Provide daily supervision to foremen and crews in the completion of assigned projects.
- Resource Allocation: Understand the needs of the project(s) and ensure manpower and equipment are scheduled and available to meet target timelines.
- Safety Management: Possess a strong understanding of safety policies and procedures and direct the overall safety culture within area(s) of responsibility.
- Quality Control: Inspect construction operations on an ongoing basis, conduct final quality inspections with government/customer representatives, and handle any potential site problems with crew.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Additional Duties: May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Associate's in Construction Management and/or related experience may also be considered.
- Experience: 3-5 years' experience in concrete paving.
- Skills: Familiar with Bridge Construction & Rehabilitation, demonstrated experience leading a team, valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred), NECEPT and traffic control certification, computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, knowledge of estimating/scheduling software, strong analytical, organization, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, strong math skills.
