Registration Specialist

As a Registration Representative at Hudson Regional Hospital, you will be responsible for accurately processing Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Department registrations in accordance with regulatory and financial requirements. You will input patient registration data into the computer system, verifying patient demographics and insurance while appropriately interviewing patients to obtain necessary information. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance verification and registration process is required. You must maintain the ability to quickly assess and respond appropriately to emergency situations, verifying outpatient scripts as needed. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service skills, ensuring compliance with all job functions within required time frames. Other responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of registration experience, and excellent customer service skills are required for this role.
