Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Telemetry RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a medical telemetry environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in a telemetry setting.
  • Instruct patients and families on medication administration and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure acceptable if active FL RN license is obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
