Objective and Responsibilities:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the expert on the treatment floor
  • Organize and manage direct patient care staff schedules
  • Maintain and evaluate daily operational tools for healthcare facilities
  • Execute Acute treatments following established protocols
  • Monitor compliance with ACES on a daily basis
  • Conduct Quality Assessment and Improvement evaluations
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care strategies
  • Implement cost management practices
  • Adhere to organizational policies and standards

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Involves administrative tasks, patient engagement, and inter-facility travel
  • Work setting within a healthcare facility with moderate ambient noise
  • Requires direct patient care involving significant lifting and mobility of patients

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Inpatient Services Registered Nurses, Inpatient Services Patient Care Technicians

Qualifications:

  • Valid state nursing license
  • CPR BLS Certification
  • Must fulfill practice requirements in all states of employment

Experience and Skills Required:

  • At least 9 months of nursing experience; specialized knowledge in dialysis preferred
  • Leadership abilities, relationship building, and team development skills
  • Management capabilities to oversee dialysis staff
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
