Membrane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Membrane Operator to join our team at the Coopersville facility. As a key member of our processing team, you will be responsible for operating membranes in a safe and sanitary manner, monitoring process control variables, and documenting accurate recordings of process parameters.
About the Role:
- Operate membranes in the processing area, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Monitor and maintain heat exchangers, membrane process control variables, and document process parameters
- Clean processing equipment, including hand cleaning parts, clean-in-place (CIP), and clean out of place (COP) operations
- Perform start-up and shut-down procedures, CIP of silos and line circuits, and take product samples for QA testing
- Service pumps, valves, and heat exchangers as needed, and develop and train team members
- Aid in the training of new personnel and report any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe conditions concerning equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Basic computational skills and simple math reasoning required
- Able to operate equipment effectively after break-in period
- Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment: The job is performed indoors on a manufacturing floor, exposing employees to loud noises, dust, dirt, sparks, oil, and smoke. Protective safety equipment may be required.
