Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in the aerospace industry. This is a great opportunity to work with a prominent client in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hardware operations to build products or components according to specifications, assembly instructions, and quality standards. This may involve using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and jigs to assemble parts, fasten components, and complete sub-assemblies or finished products.
- Ensure quality requirements are verified and maintained using scales, calipers, and micrometers.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and logs of assembly activities, including production counts, quality inspections, rework, and downtime. Report any issues, deviations, or concerns to supervisors or quality control personnel as needed.
- Ability to interpret product diagrams/blueprints.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors in mechanical components.
- Execute root cause analysis and implement corrective action.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1-3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
