Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a leading children's hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, bronchodilators, and inhalers.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Document patient care and treatment in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
  • At least one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
