Pharmacy Pre-Graduate Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment while developing your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases
- Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise
- Enter prescription information and fill prescriptions
- Complete and maintain paperwork, forms, and required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions
- Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
- Maintain the pharmacy area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school
- Preferred qualifications: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification
As a Walmart associate, you will have access to competitive pay, performance-based bonus awards, and a range of benefits, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.00, and additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Sales Volume Category (SVC) bonuses.
