Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex vascular ultrasound exams using the latest technology.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused individual who can provide exceptional technical care to patients of all ages. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex 2D/Doppler vascular ultrasound exams, including native renal and renal transplant Duplex, native mesenteric and mesenteric bypass Duplex, hemodialysis access Duplex, thoracic outlet physiologic testing, cold immersion physiologic testing, and aortic stent graft Duplex with administration of enhancing agent.
- Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures independently.
- Provide complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain accurate records and preliminary exam findings.
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Vascular Sonography program.
- Current registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with RVT certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Two years of clinical experience as a vascular sonographer preferred.
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
