Role Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled inpatient/acute care RN with at least 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical environment.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 12 weeks with potential for Full-Time or PRN placement
- Shift: Minimum of 3-12 hour shifts per week, tailored to unit needs
- Schedule: Day shift availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Foster patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Utilize experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve objectives
