Position Summary

Hourly Rate: $ dollar shift differential

Work Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 9PM-5:30AM

Role Description

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is tasked with the secure and effective operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. This role involves using lift machinery to transport, load, unload, and organize products in preparation for shipping and receiving activities to fulfill customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely maneuver Powered Industrial equipment to handle products or materials for distribution, including standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker machinery.
  • Load, unload, and properly store products and/or materials.
  • Stack and/or transport materials and products to specified locations.
  • Utilize equipment to scan products and generate labels.
  • Complete necessary documentation and manage inventory systems as required.
  • Adhere to product rotation protocols.
  • Conduct cycle counts as necessary.
  • Perform daily safety inspections in accordance with the Safety Checklist for forklift trucks.
  • Maintain facility readiness for inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Report any incidents to the supervisor promptly.
  • May assist with housekeeping tasks.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of prior experience operating forklifts. Must possess a valid forklift operator license or be able to obtain one.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
