Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing financial operations for real estate assets, focusing on budgeting, financial reporting, and portfolio management to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for the property portfolio.
  • Manage accounting for construction projects and ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, tenant billing, and rent collection.
  • Conduct variance analysis and maintain the general ledger.
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide financial insights for property management and investment decisions.
  • Manage cash flow and collaborate with 3rd party property managers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years in real estate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
