Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our interprofessional team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in our inpatient environment.
This role requires clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure optimal high-quality care and outcomes for patients
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and unit operations
- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical competence in the care and management of cardiovascular patients
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
