Assistant Professor in Neuropsychology

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at the University of California, Davis. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of cognitive aging and Alzheimer's disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead a research program focused on developing and implementing innovative digital technologies for assessing and monitoring older adults with cognitive impairment.
  • To collaborate with existing research projects at UC Davis in the area of cognitive aging and Alzheimer's disease.
  • To participate in teaching activities, including supervising postdoctoral fellows, neurology residents, medical students, and other trainees.
  • To provide some outpatient clinical care as a neuropsychologist performing neuropsychological evaluations.

Requirements
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in an APA-accredited clinical psychology program with a specialization in neuropsychology.
  • Completion of a one-year APA-approved internship with specialization in neuropsychology.
  • Completion of a two-year postdoctoral level experience in clinical neuropsychology.
  • A California license as a clinical psychologist or eligibility for licensure.
  • An outstanding record of research productivity in the area of cognitive aging and Alzheimer's disease.
  • Demonstrated skills in longitudinal modeling of cognition functioning and integrating multiple disease-related factors and biomarker data.
  • Teaching experience at the graduate or postdoctoral level.
  • The ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
  • The ability to adhere to university policies and procedures.
