Job Overview:

Northern Light Health is in search of a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to assist in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. This role will be performed under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy Services and/or Staff Pharmacist. The selected candidate will engage in essential duties such as pharmaceutical billing, inventory oversight, medication preparation, and upholding the utmost standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory utilizing the PYXIS system
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile compounds
  • Ensure precise tracking of controlled substances
  • Repackage and label medications as required
  • Support the maintenance of adequate stock levels
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Pharmacy Intern certification

Work Environment:
