About the Role

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Operations Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal, and testing equipment in our refinery/industrial facility to purify water to meet customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will operate assigned machines and equipment to meet or exceed processing and quality targets.
  • You will learn and independently operate various equipment such as pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed, odor control, disinfection equipment, sludge processing filters, belt presses, and measuring/control devices.
  • You will work collaboratively with our team and assume additional responsibilities when needed.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Some experience in a related position and environment is preferred.
  • You must be able to read, write, and comprehend English (operational, process, safety, and quality instructions).
  • You must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
  • You must pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
