Position Overview

We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity for a General Surgery Physician in a dynamic Midwest college town. This role offers a unique call-only Acute Care Surgery position with a manageable workload of only 168 shifts per year.

Schedule and Work Environment

The position features a 7 on/7 off schedule consisting of 24-hour call shifts, where 12 hours are dedicated to primary call and 12 hours to backup call. Physicians are not required to remain on-site during these shifts unless summoned.

Compensation and Benefits

Enjoy a competitive $500,000 base salary along with a $40,000 sign-on bonus. This role promotes a healthy work/life balance and provides easy access to a regional airport with direct flights to several major metropolitan areas.
