About the Role

G.S. Precision is a leading manufacturer of critical components for the Aerospace and Defense Industries. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of a team of 700 dedicated professionals working in facilities totaling 230,000 square feet in four integrated locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines assigned after set-up by area supervisor, lead person, or set-up person.
  • Make adjustments as needed to produce parts in accordance with tolerances and specifications.
  • Inspect parts to ensure compliance with requirements using micrometers, verniers, gages, fixtures, and other measuring equipment.
  • Recognize and report the need for adjustments and tool sharpening.
  • Report any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances to supervision.
Requirements
  • High School or GED preferred.
  • Machining experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to understand measurement and inspection devices.
  • Able to interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding of part placement to achieve optimum efficiency.
