- The Oxbow Center is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health and substance use services to our clients.">
- This role requires assessing and diagnosing clients, establishing positive relationships, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing counseling and treatment as needed.">
- Essential Functions:">

- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose mental health and substance use disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans for Oxbow Center clients.">
- Lead therapy sessions with individuals, groups, or families, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their emotions and make positive changes in their lives.">
- When necessary, refer clients to other healthcare professionals or specialists for additional support or treatment.">
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients.">
- Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.">
- Engage family members in the treatment process when appropriate, providing guidance and support to improve overall well-being.">
- Provide and coordinate case management services to meet client's treatment goals.">
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Oxbow Center policies.">
- Prepare and maintain required documentation, including clinical assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning.">
- Stay up-to-date on new developments in the field by completing courses, attending staff meetings, and establishing contact with other social service agencies.">
- Participate in outreach, education, and substance abuse/mental health awareness activities.">
- Be available for on-call shifts and daytime walk-in clinic duties.">
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation.">
- Participate in supervision and quality assurance processes.">
- Maintain accurate client records and complete required agency training.">
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned due to business needs.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Meet current State of Wyoming Department of Health standards as a mental health or substance use disorder therapist.">
- Hold a master degree in a related field.">
- Hold a current license or certification as a Wyoming Mental Health Professional (LCSW, PCSW, LPC, PPC, LMFT, PMFT, etc.).">
- Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting.">
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.">
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.">
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
