Job Summary:

As an MRI technologist, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging technology. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for MRIs, operating MRI technology, processing MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for MRIs, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI technology, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, providing accurate and timely results
  • Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
