Position Overview:
Kaiser Permanente is looking for an Inpatient Therapy Specialist to join our dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:
  • Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Support healthcare professionals by managing medication lists and facilitating communication with patients and providers.

Essential Duties:
1. Inventory Management:
- Regularly assess and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring all medications are appropriately stored and accounted for.
- Collaborate with inventory control staff to optimize workflow and maintain standards.

2. Medication Preparation:
- Prepare and dispense medications according to established protocols, ensuring accuracy in dosages and compliance with safety standards.
- Review physician orders for completeness and transcribe necessary information into the pharmacy system.

3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Uphold all relevant federal and state regulations regarding pharmaceutical practices.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient safety.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician License in California.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile product preparation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
