Carle Foundation Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient's status through interview, observation, and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes.
- Develop an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and healthcare team.
- Use appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes.
- Systematically evaluate and document patient's progress toward expected outcomes/goals on an ongoing basis throughout the shift.
- Modify plan of care based on evaluation and as needed based on changes in patient condition.
- College Diploma in Nursing.
- Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
- Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
