Edison Shuttle Operator

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a reliable and skilled Edison Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles between locations, adhering to established quality, environmental, and safety standards.

• Vehicle handling: Adhere to established quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Check for survey and ensure it is signed or dotted.
• Drive defensively and obey all local traffic laws and speed limits.
• Park vehicles in straight lines, spaced evenly, and follow all parking procedures.
• Maintain a clean Shuttle van and work area.
• Perform a walk-around inspection of the vehicle before moving.
• Perform duties in other areas as required.

• A safe driving record and valid driver's license.
• Excellent work history.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles into tight spaces.
• Ability to understand instructions and yard flow process.
• Ability to walk and stand for much of the day in all weather conditions.
• TWIC card required.
• 10 years of driving history.
• High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent preferred.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$18.00 per hour, as well as access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic and supplemental life insurance, and wellbeing benefits.
