Job Overview

Craig Recreational Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Kitchen Sanitation Specialist. This position is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our kitchen environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently sort and rinse soiled dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen items, placing them in designated racks for the dishwashing machine.
  • Organize and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are transported to the appropriate storage areas. Rewash any items that may have retained residue before delivery.
  • Regularly change the dishwater in the machine to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Manually wash pots, pans, and trays as needed.
  • Dispose of waste and garbage in the designated receptacles.
  • Maintain cleanliness of mats by rolling and unrolling them as required.
  • Prepare and empty soak tubs with appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure a tidy workspace.
  • Perform general cleaning duties in the restaurant and restrooms as instructed.
  • Report to management if the dish machine's wash or rinse cycle does not meet safety temperature standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read and understand chemical labels.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety protocols.

  • Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and management in a professional and courteous manner, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
