Nursing Adjunct Instructor

Position Overview: White Mountains Community College is in search of qualified candidates who are eager to engage in teaching on a course-by-course basis.

Semester: Spring

Course Responsibilities: The selected instructor will be tasked with the preparation and delivery of a 15-week course:

Course Title: Clinical

Course Number: NURS 117

Clinical Hours: 7.5 hours for each clinical day, scheduled over 2 days per week.

Credit Allocation: 7.5 credit hours per week.

Educational Duties: The instructor will educate students in maternal-child and/or medical-surgical nursing within a clinical environment, supervising educational activities under real clinical or simulation scenarios. This role reports directly to the Nursing Department Head.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (BSN may be considered).
  • Current RN license in New Hampshire.
  • Availability to teach in clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems is preferred.
  • Residency in the New England area is required.

Compensation: The pay rate is $862 per contact hour.
